Tips and Tricks for Navigating CES Like a Pro

CES is exciting, massive, and often overwhelming. Whether you’re a first-timer or a seasoned pro, having a game plan can make all the difference. Here are some tips to maximize your experience:

  1. Plan Your Dinners Early: CES isn’t just about gadgets—it’s also great for networking. Vegas has fantastic dining options, like the Golden Steer steakhouse (see above). Golden Steer offers a unique, off The Strip, dining option. You can even sit at the Rat Pack’s old table! Book early to secure spots for client dinners or team meetups.
  1. Choose Your Accommodations Wisely: Stay near the monorail to save time and avoid traffic. If you’re booking now, you’re 364 days too late!
  1. Wear Comfortable Shoes: Everyone says it but believe it…you’ll walk miles each day, so comfort is key. I’ll be rocking a walking boot this year—it’s a story for another time!
  1. Strategize Your Show Floor Visit: With over 2 million square feet of exhibits, you can’t see it all. Focus on areas like the North Hall for automotive tech or Startup Alley for fresh ideas.
  1. Use CES to Connect: Every year, I am blown away but how many people are at CES. It is an incredible chance to meet people from around the world. Build relationships and learn from industry leaders shaping the future.

*Bonus Tips: Download the CES App…. It’s a lifesaver for navigation and scheduling.

CES is a whirlwind, but with planning and these tips, you’ll have a productive and memorable experience. See you on the show floor!
